Langley movie shoot overnight will involve simulated gunfire

Film crews at Gabby's Country Cabaret in downtown Langley is a common sight these days as seen here in April. The Marine 5 is being filmed there June 7, with gunfire scenes in the middle of the night.

If you hear gunfire at Gabby's Country Cabaret tonight and into the early morning hours of Wednesday, or see a biker being shot in the night club parking lot -- it's a movie being filmed.

The next installment of the WWE Studios series titled Marine 5: Battleground is filming inside Gabby's and in the parking lot all of June 7 until 5 a.m. the next day.

Langley RCMP will be on site during the filming of in the alley and parking lot in downtown Langley on Fraser Highway. Some of the scenes being filmed will be a pick up truck being shot at and simulated gunfire (making a fire cracker sound), a Harley Davidson motorcycle rider shot in the parking lot and 10 Harleys exiting the parking lot together.

Some of the wrestlers featured in the upcoming feature film are The Miz (Michael Mizanin) and Mryse Ouellet and Heath Slater.

Gabby's is a particular favorite spot for film crews as is the Fort Langley Community Hall.
