Langley Mounties are looking for some petty thieves, searching for a missing bike, and looking to return a stolen ATV.

The thieves hit the Willowbrook-area Superstore on Oct. 5.

Two young men took medication and magazines off the shelves and then simply ran out of the store, said Cpl. Holly Marks, a spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

A loss prevention officer tried to stop the men but couldn’t apprehend them.

They were last seen heading north away from the store.

The two men are between 20 and 22 years old, Caucasian, and about 5’8” tall. One was wearing a red Adidas T-shirt with a striped grey and black hoodie, a grey hat with black trim, and black track pants and red and black shoes. The other man was wearing a black hoodie with a red liner, a black hat, and grey sweat pants.

Police are looking into the theft of a bike in the 2700 block of Warren Place on Oct. 12.

The bike is a 2011 Giant Rain X1 mountain bike with a full suspension, a Kevlar seat, blue handlebars, black rims with white spokes and heavy-duty rear suspension.

In a case of a vehicle appearing instead of disappearing, sometime between Sept. 25 and 26, an ATV was found partially concealed in the front hedge of a home in the 5700 block of 248th Street, said Marks

The ATV doesn’t appear to have been reported stolen. It’s a 1984 Honda with a legible vehicle identification number, and police are now hoping that the rightful owner can come forward and claim their property.

Anyone who has information on the two thefts, or wishes to claim the ATV can call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200. To leave an anonymous tip, call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
