Multiple calls about gunfire brought the Langley RCMP to a west Aldergrove neighbourhood Tuesday evening.

“Just before 7:30 p.m., the Langley RCMP received multiple calls to the area of 266 Street and 29 Avenue,” said Cpl. Craig van Herk.

Police discovered that a home invasion had just occurred.

While it is still early in the investigation, it has been determined that shots had been fired.

“Langley Serious Crime Section has taken conduct of the investigation,” van Herk said.

Police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed anything and have not yet spoken with police to contact the Langely RCMP.
