The operations director for a local sports charity has announced a run for Langley Township council.
Margaret Kunst announced her candidacy this week.
Born and raised in Langley, Kunst said she lived in several Langley communities as a child, including Brookswood, Milner, South Langley, and around the Poppy area.
She and her husband have raised four children in Brookswood.
With the PuCKS Powerplay Foundation, Kunst said she has worked with Langley’s vulnerable population, newcomers, and marginalized youth.
The family has also owned a sawdust and shavings company for 20 years.
