Man stabbed in head on Fraser Highway

A man stabbed in the head on Fraser Highway at 187th Street on Friday evening is not cooperating with police.

Around 7 p.m., RCMP heard complaints that someone had been stabbed near the Save-On Foods.

Two suspects approached the victim in the parking lot asking for directions and then attacked the victim with a knife. The suspects drove away in an SUV.

The man was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries, and suffered lacerations to the head.

Police say the victim, who is known to police, was not co-operating, and that the incident was probably drug-related.
