A 25-year-old was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after his car collided with an SUV at this major Langley intersection Friday.

Depending on which eyewitness spoke to police, one of two vehicles involved in a Friday (May 6) afternoon crash at the intersection of Fraser Highway and Highway 10 was running a red light.

Or making a left turn when they shouldn't have.

Because of the conflicting eyewitness accounts, no charges are expected in the collision which sent a 25-year-old Langley man to hospital with what RCMP described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. when a northbound Chrysler 300 driven by the 25-year-old collided with a southbound Ford Explorer driven by a 36-year-old resident of Salt Spring Island.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called and traffic through the intersection was restricted for about 45 minutes.
