Parents go to classes at Langley high school

Parents may want to attend one of two education workshops at R.E. Mountain Secondary this week.

The Langley Parents as Partners group has a session Thursday, 7-8 p.m. with Susie Lang-Gould.

Called the Heart of Parenting, the session is with this registered clinical counsellor who will speak on topics such as parental intuition, compassion, parent-child connections.

The other workshop is by the Fraser Valley Parent Network.

It’s an all day session March 8 on topics such as 21st century learning, self-regulation, anxiety, the online generation, bullying prevention, special education, advocating for your child, the new B.C. curriculum and highly abled learners.
