Langley Mounties are looking for a pickup truck driver involved in a hit and run that left a pedestrian injured.

On May 4 at about 4 p.m., the victim was standing on the corner of 203rd Street and 66th Avenue, said Cpl. Holly Largy, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

The walk signal was in the victim’s favour as he stepped into the westbound crosswalk, Largy said.

A northbound pickup truck, turning right onto 66th Avenue, hit the pedestrian.

The victim suffered a hairline fracture in his shoulder.

The truck, which left the scene, is described as newer, and lifted, Largy said.

Anyone who has information that could help with the investigation should call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200, or to remain anonymous, call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
