Police bust drug-trafficking operation in eastern Fraser Valley

Search warrants executed at homes in Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Agassiz

A drug-trafficking operation in the eastern Fraser Valley has been busted and four people have been arrested, according to police.

A press release issued Tuesday (Feb. 4) states that four search warrants were executed on Jan. 21 at two residences in Abbotsford, one in Chilliwack and one in Agassiz.

Police say among the items seized were 1,249 grams of fentanyl, 107 grams of cocaine, 365 ml of liquid cocaine, three vehicles and more than $51,000 in cash.

The search warrants were executed by the Chilliwack RCMP, with assistance from Indigenous Policing Services, the Abbotsford Police Department, and the Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team.

The four people arrested have been released pending further investigation.

No further information has been released at this time.
