The Surrey RCMP is investigating what it’s calling a “suspicious” death in the 16100-block of 110 Avenue in Fraser Heights after being called to a residence there on Sunday (Nov. 5).

“When police arrived, they found an adult male deceased,” Sgt. Tammy Lobb said. “One person was arrested and later released. Surrey RCMP Serious Crime Unit now has conduct of the investigation.”

Lobb said the individuals new each other and police believe this was an “isolated incident” with no risk to the “greater public.

“The Serious Crime Unit is working closely with the BC Coroners Service and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death,” Lobb said.
