Police investigating fatal pedestrian collision in Langley

Victims services has been brought in to help the occupants of a vehicle involved in a fatal pedestrian collision early Tuesday morning.

At about 5:45 a.m., the collision happened at the intersection of Worrel Crescent and Glover Road in Milner.

“The involved vehicle remained at the scene and administered first aid to the pedestrian,” said Langley RCMP Cpl. Holly Largy. “Unfortunately, he could not be saved.”

The Langley RCMP along with ICARS are investigating.

“Glover Road will remain closed between Crush Crescent and 216th Street for the next several hours,” Largy said early Tuesday.

The police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information about it and has not yet spoken to police. Call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3231.
