A man has exposed himself to at least two women in the area near the Surrey-Langley border, say RCMP.

Surrey Mounties say both incidents took place the morning of June 9.

The first took place at 9 a.m. at 185th Street and 68th Avenue, and the second at 9:20 a.m. at 188th Street and 68th.

In both incidents, the man pulled up next to adult women in his pickup truck and asked for directions. He was naked.

He did not attack or threaten the women during the incidents.

Both victims have been interviewed by investigators, and police are canvassing the area for other possible victims and video surveillance footage.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man in his 30s with very short or shaved black hair.

The truck is a newer-model light brown Ford pickup without a canopy.

"If you've seen this truck or suspect, investigators want to talk to you right away," said Cpl. Scotty Schumann, a spokesperson for the Surrey RCMP.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502, or to remain anonymous, call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Schumann said people walking alone can improve their safety by maintaining awareness of their surroundings at all times. If approached by a suspicious person, take note of their description and direction of travel, then call the police as soon as it is safe, he said.
