Robber who stuck up CIBC branch sought by police

Public asked to look at surveillance photo and forward tips to police or Crimestoppers.

This man (footage is from surveillance video camera) is a suspect in an April 27 robbery of the CIBC branch on 64 Avenue near Willowbrook.

Police have released the photo of a suspect in a bank robbery at the Willowbrook CIBC on April 27.

The suspect walked into the 64 Avenue bank, produced a note, indicated he had a weapon and demanded money.

He was given a sum of money and fled in an older model grey or brown van.

He was seen heading eastbound on 64 Avenue.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, six feet tall, 220 – 230 lbs., blue eyes, light strawberry coloured hair, with a Band-aid on his nose, wearing dark jeans or sweat pants, a white T-shirt, a dark zip-up hoodie, a dark hat with no logo and dark rimmed glasses.
