At least one person was injured and had to be extricated from a vehicle following a rollover crash in Langley City on Friday evening.

Around 7:30 p.m. Langley City fire crews responded to a rollover MVA at 203 Street and 54 Avenue, after an SUV collided with a sedan, sending the SUV onto its roof.

The driver of the sedan was uninjured while the driver of the SUV was trapped, and had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency crews.

The woman was transported to hospital with unknown injuries. Langley RCMP closed the road while they investigated and interviewed witnesses.

An infant car seat was seen outside the SUV, however it appears no child was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
