Serial robber strikes again

The bandit of the west has struck again.

The thief who held up an Aldergrove bank on Jan. 21 is now suspected of robbing a bank in Dawson Creek.

On Jan. 28, the man walked in, pulled a gun, and demanded money. No one was hurt during the robbery and the man left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

This makes nine robberies across B.C., Alberta, and Saskatchewan since Dec. 1.

The suspect has mostly hit banks in smaller towns, and as of yet no one has been hurt.

He is described as Caucasian, 25-35, slim, with a beard that is reddish to light brown in colour. He wears black gloves, clothes, usually a hoodie or toque, and sunglasses.

According to Cpl. Dave Tyreman, a silver GMC Envoy may be linked to the suspect.

Anyone with information on the suspect can call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200, or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
