A single shot was fired in a Langley City alley Tuesday afternoon, and police are looking for the gunman.

The RCMP were called out the 20200 block of 54A Avenue at 12:15 p.m., said Cpl. Holly Marks, spokesperson for the Langley Mounties.

Witnesses said the shot came from a back alley.

When police arrived, there was no one still there. A vehicle was seen leaving the area, but it’s unknown if it had anything to do with the shot.

Investigators were still trying to determine if anyone had been injured.
