Surveillance photos released of suspects in Langley mugging, thefts

Langley RCMP are looking for suspects in a number of recent crimes.

Langley RCMP are have released photos of a collection of suspects and stolen items linked to recent investigations.

A man was photographed using a stolen debit card to make a withdrawal on Nov. 19.

The card had been stolen earlier the same day from a parked vehicle at a South Langley horse stable, said Cpl. Holly Largy, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

She reminded people they should remove all valuables from their parked cars.

On Dec. 8, a man allegedly stole a number of items from the Otter Co-op. The suspect is believed to be in his 50s, wearing a green jacket with yellow high visibility stripes, dark pants, and glasses.

A man wielding a pick-style weapon mugged a Langley resident and stole the victim’s iPhone on Dec. 8. The victim arrived having arranged to meet someone to sell his phone, only to be held up, Largy said.

The thief is Caucasian, in his 30s, 5’8” tall, 150 pounds, with a blondish buzz cut. He was wearing a grey sweater with the Nike logo.

Again on Dec. 8, an electric bass guitar was stolen from a utility trailer parked in a lot in North Langley. The guitar is in a rectangular case that resembles a toolbox, and is valued at about $5,000.

On Dec. 12, a man walked into the Langley London Drugs and walked out with two stolen Philips-brand beard trimmers. He does not appear to have much of a beard.

That same day, a man stole multiple food items from the 7-Eleven in the 6000 block of Glover Road. The suspect is Caucasian, in his mid-20s, and was wearing a black hoodie winter jacket, black winter pants, black running shoes, and white headphones. He was carrying a black back pack.
