Members of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team are on the scene at a hotel on Fraser Highway near 203 Street, after a man was found dead inside one of the rooms late yesterday afternoon (Jan. 22).
IHIT was called in after Langley RCMP determined the death was suspicious.The parking lot is cordoned off, and an IHIT tent is set up in behind the building.
No motive for this death has been determined at this time.
The victim won't be named until notification to next of kin is complete. The BC Coroner's Service is assisting to help determine what led up to the man's death.
Investigators will remain on scene for several hours today, and numerous resources are available to speak to anyone who may offer information about what occurred.
