Thief who stole Poppy Fund collection box sought

A surveillance photo should help people to identify the culprit, who struck a Langley City thrift store on Thursday.

A surveillance camera caught the image of this man who is suspected to have stolen Poppy Fund money from a Langley thrift store on Thursday. Police are seeking public assistance in identifying him. A surveillance photo last week in Abbotsford led to the arrest of a man who committed a similar crime.

A heartless thief stole Poppy Fund  money from the Bibles for Missions Thrift Store in Langley last Thursday (Nov. 6).

Staff at the store, located on 200 Street, have released a picture of the suspect and are hoping someone can identify the man.

A surveillance picture of a man who stole a poppy box in Abbotsford was released to the media last week, leading to an arrest.
