A three-car crash involving two BMWs closed down part of Langley’s Mufford-Glover overpass interchange on Wednesday afternoon.

The white BMW was heading northbound on Glover Road just before 4 p.m., and was making a left-hand turn onto the Mufford overpass. A black BMW, meanwhile, was heading south on Glover, said Cpl. Holly Largy, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

The black car struck the white car, and then the black BMW rotated through the intersection and slammed into a red Chevrolet that had been waiting at a red light on Mufford, said Largy.

Despite the fact that both BMWs suffered some serious damage, all the people involved suffered only minor injuries.

The crash happened on a yellow light, but because witnesses couldn’t say exactly how the crash happened, no tickets were issued, said Largy.

The left turn from the overpass onto Glover Road was closed for some time after the crash, sending drivers around to alternate routes.
