Tourism Langley holds AGM April 18

Nominees for upcoming election to be considered at meeting

Nominees for Tourism Langley’s board of directors election will be considered at an upcoming annual general meeting on Tuesday, April 18.

There are currently two seats available for the accommodations sector, one seat for food and beverage, one seat for retail/other services and one seat for sport.

Also to be discussed at the meeting are the following motions:

  • Motion to recommend that ex-officio Township of Langley councilors transition from non-voting to voting members; and
  • Pending the outcome of motion 1, members endorse the change in board make-up, giving the Township of Langley two voting councilors.

The AGM will be held from 11 a.m. to noon at Cascades Casino Resort, 20393 Fraser Hwy.
