A Langley man had to get multiple stitches in his arm after two pit bull terriers attacked him outside The Dollar Store in Willowbrook on Dec. 28.

Langley RCMP confirm that they are currently trying to determine who the owner of the dogs is. The investigation is ongoing, confirms Cpl. Holly Marks.

The victim was leaving the store when the two dogs lunged at him, even though they were tied to a mountain bike.

One bit onto his arm but somehow the victim managed to get the dog off him and get back inside the store. The owner is believed to have apologized, but he left the store with the dogs before police arrived.

Langley Animal Protection Society deals with dog bites and has been made aware of the file by police but haven’t been given full details to begin their investigation.
