Two occupants of a four-door sedan were sent to hospital after it collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Glover Road and the Langley Bypass late Thursday afternoon (April 17).

It appeared the truck made contact with the car on its passenger side.

Members of the Langley City Fire Department used the Jaws of Life device to extricate the passenger from the car, who was then airlifted by helicopter from the scene to Royal Columbian Hospital with undetermined, but potentially serious, injuries.

The driver of the car was reportedly transported to Langley Memorial Hospital for assessment.

The occupants of the pickup truck, a driver and a child passenger, did not appear to suffer serious injuries.
