A legal marijuana grow-op on Fraser Highway west of 232 Street went up in flames on Thursday morning.
A man fled the scene in what may have been a white Ford Ranger, according to Township of Langley Fire Department Chief Bruce Ferguson.
"Upon our arrival, there was an occupant here, came out got in a vehicle and left.
Ferguson said the building was licensed to grow up to 30 plants by Health Canada.
Fire crews responded to a 911 call made around 9:30 a.m.
The section of Fraser Highway between 232 Street and 224 Street was shut down to allow Township of Langley crews to work. Ferguson said it would remain closed until approximately 1:15 p.m.
