Updated: HandyDart slides into Langley ditch

Police now believe the driver suffered a medical incident.

A HandyDart slid into the ditch on Tuesday morning. No one was injured, said police.

The driver of a HandyDart bus suffered a medical incident when his vehicle went into a ditch on Fraser Highway west of 248 Street Tuesday morning.

Just before 9 a.m., the bus went into the ditch. Langley RCMP are now saying the driver suffered a medical incident. It is unknown if there were passengers on the bus. Westbound of Fraser Highway was blocked but a tow truck arrived and cleared the crash before 11 a.m.

Temperatures could dip down to -9 Celsius on Thursday making for more black ice conditions.
