UPDATED: Wanted Langley man turns himself in

Langley RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for this man, Dean Kalynchuk, 45,accused of breaking into a City cellphone repair shop.

A wanted man has turned himself into police one day after Langley RCMP issued an arrest warrant for him. Langley City resident Dean Christopher Kalynchuk, 45, is accused of stealing several iPads and cellphones from a local store.

On Tuesday, police were seeking the public’s assistance to locate Kalynchuk and released his picture to the media. He has tears tattooed on his face, as well as a large neck tattoo.

He is accused of breaking into a cellphone repair store in Langley City on Oct. 6. Along with iPads and phones, cellphone parts were also stolen.

He has multiple tattoos on his arms, including an ape, a titan, a dragon and a mermaid.

His last known address was in Langley City, however he has been known to frequent Surrey as well.
