Three units of the Langley Township fire department and Langley RCMP were called to the scene of a reported residential structure fire shortly after 4 p.m.
The fire in a back yard shed stopped traffic in the 20100 block of 62 Avenue in Langley.
The blaze was confined to the shed, though the house did appear to suffer some minor damage.
Firefighters at the scene said no one was injured.
Traffic on 62 was closed off for about an hour.
