VIDEO: Police standoff with man at Langley townhouse complex

The hours-long incident started Friday around 10:30 p.m. RCMP said

A 11-hour standoff between Langley RCMP and man in a townhouse complex ended Saturday morning, June 26, with the man being transported by ambulance to hospital with a police escort.

Langley RCMP Cpl. Holly Largy told the Langley Advance Times it was “believed to be a mental health incident.”

Before he was taken into custody, the man could be seen shouting from a balcony in the townhouse complex in 20100-block of 68 Avenue.

The incident, which started around 10:30 p.m. Friday night, ended around 10:15 a.m.

No serious injuries were reported.
