VIDEO: Semi goes backwards, takes out tree

Was delivering excavator to Langley construction site

A truck rolled backwards down a short incline at a Langley construction site, hopped a curb and landed in the front yard of an older house, taking out a tree and dumping an excavator in the process, witnesses said.

The semi-trailer truck was making a delivery of an excavator Monday around noon in the 7100 block of 206 Street.

No injuries were reported.

Police were at the scene and spoke to the semi driver.
