Langley City’s newest councillor, Nathan Pachal, has announced he is running for office again this October.

Pachal was elected in 2016 in a byelection, replacing the late councillor Dave Hall.

“By bringing more positive activity into our community, we have been able to take back some of our public spaces,” Pachal said in the video announcing his run.

He also mentioned the Intensive Case Management Team and supportive housing efforts locally aimed at getting people off the street.

His video also shows the re-vamped 203rd Street that was rebuilt with raised bike lanes and more pedestrian space.

“While progress has been made, there is still much work to be done to create a community where everyone feels safe and everyone has a good quality of life,” Pachal said.
