Three-quarters of a million Canadians will be downing a free Slurpee tomorrow, as part of their annual 7-Eleven giveaway.
Fair to say, timing is everything. With the thermostat topping out around 30ºC, the company – including the Langley and Aldergrove stores – will be giving away 4,500 of the 12-ounce sugary, cool drinks to the masses between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, July 11.
Familiar to many Canadians, the concept of the Slurpee ‘run’ was born 45 years ago, when the company was founded.
This birthday, 7-Eleven is celebrating the daily Slurpee run by inviting fans to organize the most creative or original Slurpee run and then post a run photo on Slurpee Canada’s Facebook page.
The incentive? The best photos could win even more free Slurpee.
