After a long and valiant battle with progressive heart disease Aldo passed away peacefully at 88 years. He is survived by his partner of 50 years Terry. Together they operated several successful businesses together the last and most satisfying being the popular Patsies Bistro in downtown Langley in the '80s and '90s.
Aldo was extremely generous, always there with an extra glass of wine, some good food, that toothy smile and sometimes an inappropriate comment. When invited he always showed up with flowers or a plant as he loved gardening.
In retirement he befriended a number of senior ladies in White Rock tending to their gardens and assisting them with whatever needed to be done. Leisure was spent on many trips to Hawaii, Las Vegas, cruising and family visits to Slovenia although when asked, Aldo would always say he was Italian.
A special thank you to the White Rock Seniors Village Care home where Aldo spent the last four and a half months of his life cared for by an incredible team of nurses and care aides who do an incredible job to make the last stages of a person's life meaningful.
