SIMMONS, Alexander John
passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 25, 2010, at Langley B.C. at the age of 96 years. Predeceased by his wife May and his son Roydon, Alex is survived by his children Gladie (Stan), Bob (Joan), Beverly (Gerasimos) and Jerry 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Alex was the last of 10 children born to John and Alexandra Simmons, on the farm in Ethelbert, Manitoba. He worked as a welder and millwright in the lumber business. He will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 30 2010 at 11:00 am, in the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 27555 31st Avenue, Aldergrove, B.C.
