Alfred Thomas Headey

Alf was born in Burnaby, B.C. and lived in various locations in the Lower Mainland all of his life. He lived in Fort Langley from 1984 in his home on King Street and then in Simpson Manor since 2008. Predeceased by his first wife Ann Headey (Worrell), his second wife Lois Headey (Carlson), and by his Stepson Delbert Worrell. Also predeceased by his brother Cyril and his sister Berle. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Sally Worrell, grandchildren Frank Worrell and Shaunna Asselstine (Michael), his great-grandchildren Devin Asselstine, Morgan Asselstine (Heather), and Taryn Asselstine. Also by his brother George Headey and many nephews and nieces in B.C. and Alberta. Alf’s family would like to thank his very good friends in Fort Langley; Mel Trekofski, Joanne and Bob King, and Denzil & Sharon (recently deceased) Owen. With their kindness and help he was able to live in his own home until he was almost 90 years of age. A Memorial Service will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home at 20786 Fraser Hwy., Langley, B.C. on Sat. Feb. 13, 2010 at 11:00am.
