CAREY, ALICE
(March 1926 – August 2005)
Our dearest Grandma, mother and best friend passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2005. Alice heroically and gracefully maintained her kind spirit and good grace throughout a four-year struggle with pulmonary fibrosis and a brief battle with cancer. An avid watercolorist Alice leaves a legacy of beauty for us to remember her beauty by. All who knew and were inspired by her gentleness and caring will sadly miss her.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 on August 30, 2005 at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church ~ 20675 87 Avenue Langley, BC. All who wish to remember Alice on this day are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Lung Association or BC Cancer Society would be appreciated.
