NICHOLSON, Andrew (Andy)
Age 86, passed away peacefully after a long battle with ALS on September 21, 2010 at Simpson’s Manor, Fort
Langley, BC. He was born on May 28, 1924 near Edinburgh Scotland, son of Mathew and Elizabeth Nicholson. The family moved to Saskatchewan when Andy was 2. Andy moved to Langley BC in his late teens and worked and owned businesses in Langley and Ft. Langley throughout the 40’s, 50’s and early 60’s. In 1967 he secured a position with the CNR in Port Mann, BC and married Sophie on August 19, 1967. Andy volunteered with Frontiersmen. Andy and Sophie enjoyed bowling, square-dancing, many outdoor activities and especially enjoyed family.
Surviving in addition to his wife Sophie are his sons Marshall Moleschi (Sanja), Dan Moleschi (Diane); daughters Colleen Romanuik (Dayle), Lynda Moleschi (Dale); and grandchildren Mike Moleschi (Marcie), Dave Moleschi (Erin), Tammy Romanuik, Crystal Romanuik, Juliane Romanuik, Valentina Marocco, and Anthony Marocco; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11am, Monday, September 27, 2010 at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC.
