BALAT, ANNE
It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Anne Balat on Friday October 22nd 2010. She was born in Holland on January 18th, 1940. She was a great cook at both the West Country and Langley Hotels. She is survived by her special friend Gene Owens, her sons Bill, Hank, Mark, Nik and Mike, her daughter Debbie and her sister Margaret and her brother Hank and many grand-children and great grand-children. She was predeceased by her son Charlie and grandson Vincent, her brothers Nick and Charlie. A memorial tea will be held on Saturday, November 6th, 2010 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the West Country Hotel in Langley.
