Auguste Joseph Martel passed away peacefully on August 12th, 2019 in Langley, B.C, at the age of 91 surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He was pre-deceased by his wife of 67 years, Betty, and will be remembered by his daughter Shelley (Theo) Boersma, son Laurie Martel, grandchildren Haley (George), Lindsey (Paul) and Brandon (Karen) as well as great grandchildren Hunter, Olivia and Jaeden.
Auguste was a kind and gentle man who was admired by many. A dedicated and loving husband, Auguste cared deeply for his wife Betty. He loved the outdoors where together they would create a beautiful garden at their home each year.
Auguste adored his puppy Sydney. They were inseparable when together and would spend hours up on his chair enjoying each other's company.
As Auguste would say "Good-bye for now".
