Betty-Mae Alice Martel passed away on March 31st, 2018 in Langley, B.C, peacefully at the age of 86 surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Betty will be remembered by her loving husband of 67 years, Auguste Martel, daughter Shelley (Theo) Boersma, son Laurie Martel, grandchildren Haley (George), Lindsey (Paul) and Brandon (Karen) as well as great grandchildren Hunter and Olivia.
Betty and Auguste had an exceptional love for each other. They had a wonderful "one of a kind" relationship and a life together filled with trust and stability. Betty had a special place in her heart for her puppy Sydney who always brought a smile to her face and made her so very happy.
Betty's family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Wittmann and the nurses and staff at Langley Memorial Hospital for their support and efforts.
