Beulah NEWCOMB

NEWCOMB, Beulah May of Langley, B.C. passed away peacefully into the presence of the Lord on November 7, 2005 at the age of 93 years.

She was born September 1, 1912 in Halifax, N.S. but lived in 6 provinces. She moved to Langley to retire in 1978.

She was predeceased by her brothers Earl, Audley, and Russell Giffin. ''Nana'' will be missed by her 4 children; Barbara (Gordon) White of California, Elizabeth (John) Anonby of Langley, Audley (Sandy) Newcomb of Prince George, and Elden (Isabel) Newcomb of Cobourg, Ontario; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and the many whose lives she touched.

In 2002 she was honoured with being chosen Langley Senior Lady of the Year. For 23 years she faithfully ministered to her ''boys'' at Mountain Insitution.

A memorial serice to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Christina Life Assembly, 21277 56th Ave., Langley, BC. Flowers are gratefully declined in favour of donations to Wycliffe Bible Translators, Mambay Project. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to Dr. Bacchus and the staff of Highland Lodge where she resided for the past 5 1/2 years.
