Sep 14, 1948 - Mar 13, 2018
On March 13, 2018, after a hard-fought but quiet battle with cancer, Bruce passed away while under treatment in Mexico. He is survived by his loving wife Rebecca, his daughters, Teressa and Gabrielle and his son-in-law, Shaun.

Bruce was born on September 14, 1948 in Lachine, Quebec. In the early 1970's he moved to B.C. where he worked for Dominion Bridge and BC Hydro. More than 25 years ago, he created his company, Engraver's Express, in Langley, B.C. With his vision and years of hard work, perseverance and unflagging determination, Bruce built a company with offices across Canada. He retired in 2013.

His love of travel took him around the world, but it was the Cook Islands that captured his heart. Their tropical beauty and warm, friendly people drew him back to visit often. It was here, on a white sand beach in Rarotonga, that he wed his beloved Becky, within sight of the vacation home he had built.

Bruce was treasured by his family, business associates and many friends. He was known to be a kind, loving and generous man with a ready smile and well-honed sense of humour.

Bruce's spirit was truly "larger than life" and that, along with his positive outlook, embraced all who knew him. He enjoyed good food, good wine, good friends and any opportunity to dance. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.

On May 19, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, a Celebration of Life will be held at The Langley Golf and Banquet Centre, 21550 44th Avenue, Langley. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the B C Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated.
