MACDONALD; Carole Anita (nee Girling)
November 24, 1943 - November 5, 2015
With sadness we announce the passing of Carole on November 5, 2015 at the age of 71. A loving wife and mother, Carole is survived by her husband Jim of 50 years. They were married in Burnaby, BC on August 20th, 1965. Carole is lovingly remembered by Jim; her three children David (Glenda), Heather (John) and Christie (Declan); her six grandchildren Jessica, Joshua, Reece, Jordan, Jane and Kieran; and her many caring extended family members. Carole was born to Jack and Greta Girling in Birmingham, England on November 24th, 1943 and emigrated to Canada with her parents at the age of seven. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, tending to her gardens and watching musical productions. We would like to extend our gratitude to the Abbotsford Cancer Clinic, and give a special thanks to all of the caring and compassionate nurses and volunteers working in the Maple Hill wing at the Langley Hospice Society.
