DILLEN, Charles W.

March 6, 1921 to Sept. 17, 2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the quiet passing of Charles W. Dillen of Langley, BC on Sept. 17, 2010. He was born in Moose Jaw, Sask. and moved to BC in 1950. He served his country in World War II from 1941 to 1946. After moving his family to BC he found work at McDonald Cedar Products in Fort Langley for the next 35 years. He had many hobbies and just generally enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Liz of 67 years, sons David (Karen), Lance (Fran), daughters Gale (Henry), Cathy, grandchildren, Shelly (Norman), Christy, Bobbi (Ken), Sandee (Andre), Sabrina (Chris), Jason (Erin), Nick (Leeann), Allison and great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brody, Madison, Taylor, Keira, Jakob, Aidan, Leah. No service requested, a tribute to his life will be held for family and friends on October 2nd, 2010 at Fort Langley Lions Senior Hall, 23022-88 Ave., Fort Langley, BC from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
