DAVID RYAN FOLKERTS 1983-2005 with shock, sadness and the hope of faith in Christ, we announce that David Ryan Folkerts suddenly passed away at his home early Sunday morning, January 9, 2005. David, born February 19, 1983 was only 21 years of age and in very good health when he passed away for no known reason. David attended the Langley Christian School from K-12, was a member of the Langley Immanuel Christian Reformed Church and deeply loved by all who knew his life giving character and infectious smile. David loved sports, music, art, cooking, eating, family, his very special girlfriend Toni, many, many friends and above all, Christ. David is survived by his parents, John and Wendy Folkerts, and his brothers and sisters, Steven, sister-in-law Katherine, nephew Brandon, shannon and Keith. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Mrs. L. Wisselink and Mrs. A. Folkerts and many aunts, uncles and cousins. David's viewing will take place on Friday, January 14 from 6-8pm at the Henderson Funeral chapel on 20786 Fraser Highway in Langley. The Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, January 15 at 1pm at the Chrisitan life Assembly, 21277-56th Ave, Langley followed by a tea reception at the Langley Immanuel Christian reformed Church at 21713 50th Ave., Langley.
