With saddened hearts we announce the passing of David Lyle Hall of Langley, BC on July 25, 2017. David was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and a sense of adventure brought him to Canada on July 25, 1963. He continued his adventures with travels near and far, hikes deep into the woods and relaxed with crosswords, puzzles and Jeopardy! He worked with Mazda as a Master Technician for many years and while he grew tired of working on cars he always found a way to enjoy a pint at a nearby pub. David is survived by his loving wife Sita, children Lyle (Jennifer) and Shannon (David), Sita’s children Lance (Teresa), Theresa (Tim) and Kyle (Mary Lynn) his siblings in Belfast Jim (Maude), Mabel and Billy (Heather) and nephews Stephen, Gregory and their families. His greatest joy was time spent with his family and especially with his grandchildren Maia, Adam, Chloe, Kellen, Malcolm and Henry. He was predeceased by his parents, David & Mabel, his beloved sister Eileen and his nephew Gareth. He leaves us with loving memories of a wonderful husband, father and Opa and will live on forever in our hearts. A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 31 2017. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.
