She is survived by her loving husband, Mervyn; sister Jayne Hornsby, Thamesford, ON; niece Julia Hutter, St. Thomas, ON; nephews Curtis and Ryan Hornsby, ON; brother-in-law Fred Kreishman, Richmond, BC; and numerous cousins and long-time friends from coast to coast.

After high school graduation in Hamilton, ON, Dianne began her career as a full-time teacher of the Bible, which involved visiting people at their residences and conducting Bible Studies. Her Ministry took her to Nova Scotia, including places like Antigonish, Sydney, and Halifax. In 1965, she married her husband Mervyn, from Richmond, BC, supporting him over the next 15 years in his capacity as a travelling minister. Together they served in Southwestern Ontario, East and West Kootenays, Burnaby, and North and West Vancouver.

Due to her frequent illnesses and surgeries they eventually settled down in Langley. Starting January 2018, she began a 6 month battle with colon cancer, involving two surgeries and 3 hospital stays. Finally, on Saturday, July 7, 2018, Dianne lost her battle with cancer and went to sleep awaiting the resurrection as promised by Jesus in John 5: 25 - 29.

The family wishes to thank all medical staff, doctors and nurses involved in her care.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 21465 Old Yale Road, Langley, on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.
