Doretta, Irene Handley (nee Holtzman) Born Valentine's Day February 14 1925 passed away while surrounded by her loving family on February 10th in Langley,B.C. Surrey And Gail ( Roger) Helland of Kelowna, eight grandchildren one great grandchild as well as her sister Dorie, and brothers Clayton, Alvin and Milt. Doretta was born on a farm in Hodgeville, Sask. She shared wonderful memories of farm life on the prairies including catching gophers, stuking sheaves and attending barn dances. She was married to John for 48 years, having lived in Vancouver, Surrey and Langley. Her devotion to family, compassionate heart, practical ways and constant energy for card games and word puzzles are part of the legacy she leaves behind. She will be greatly missed on earth but welcomed by the Lord. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 17,2005, 1:00pm @ The Brookswood Baptist Church,
