PATTE, Dorothy. Mom passed peacefully from this earth to be with God on Friday, June 24 at Langley Memorial Hospital. This very special lady was born on May 13, 1923 in Barbados, West Indies, and enjoyed a full life in Nova Scotia, Ontario, and for the past year, British Columbia. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Earl. Saddened by her death is her beloved family: daughter Margaret and son-in-law Jim Reith, grandson David, granddaughter Marin and new grandson-in-law, Paul O'Brien. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her brothers Charles (Peggy) Bradshaw, Barbados, West Indies, David (Shirley) Bradshaw, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Malcolm (Shirley) Bradshaw, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, and many other dearly loved family members and friends.
A funeral service and reception will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, Fort Langley at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 30. As expressions of sympathy, Mom would be honoured by donations to Vancouver Children's Hospital or Covenant House, Vancouver.
