Born Sept. 3, 1951, in Vancouver, B.C. Passed away Dec. 15, 2005. Leaves his loving wife, Mary, daughter Melissa, sister Jan, many caring and close relatives and friends. Doug lived a happy, active life, enjoying the company of family and friends.
Our 'Barbecue King' loved golf as much as a fine martini. He faced his illness without complaint, a pillar of strength to those around him. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. "Fly with the angels, Doug; we'll be in touch."
A celebration of Doug's life will be held on Thursday Dec. 29, 2005 in the Clubhouse at 17917-68 Avenue, Surrey, 2:00-5:00 pm. All are welcome to share their stories about Doug at 3:30. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. Special thanks to Dr. Lyly Le and Dr. Len Delair, and the caring staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
