WHARTON, Ecliffe
Born December 29, 1940 in Georgetown, Guyana died peacefully at home with his family by his side on May 29, 2005. Proudly survived by his wife of 35 years, Beverly, three daughters: Charlene, Stephanie (Vince), Melissa and one grand daughter: Kaitlin, who always brought sunshine into his life.
Predeceased by his parents Olga and Carmichael Wharton and younger brother Keith Wharton, Ecliffe is also survived by his siblings Claudette Hinds, of New York, Compton Wharton, Douglas Wharton and Donna Melville, all of Georgetown.
Ecliffe leaves behind many dear friends who shared in his passion for photography, golf, table tennis, music and fine wine.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday June 4, 2005 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre - 14831 28th Ave, Surrey.
The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to his medical care team at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Fraser Valley Cancer Centre and the Fraser Health Palliative Care Team for their tremendous support and care.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ecliffe's memory may be made to the Surrey Memorial Foundation or the BC Cancer Foundation.
